Katy Perry Makes First Public Appearance Since Divorce
Back in the United States to see friends and support a charity, Katy Perry strolled down a red carpet for the first time since her split with Russell Brand.
The singer rocked her blue hair and donned a cocktail dress with metal studs at the overnight Friday event for Givelove.org, which provides sustainable low-income solutions Haiti earthquake victims.
Markus Molinari, a designer for J. Molinari Jewelry, told PEOPLE that Perry was doing “amazing” and she was in town to support his cause because “that’s what friends do.”
At the event at the 1 OAK club in the Mirage Hotel, Perry hung out in a VIP booth and watched her pal Ferras perform.
“She was really tame,” a source said. “She was really just drinking a few drinks and chilling with her friends.”
Earlier, Perry went to Stack restaurant, joining a table of 18 and dining on steak, seafood and red wine and listening to another performance by Ferras on the piano. Perry was seen clapping, cheering and swinging a napkin the air.
The singer is back from doing shows in the Philippines and Indonesia.

Katy Perry’s False Eyelash Line
With the number of hair color changes she’s made lately, Katy Perry could practically create her own line of dyes. But the “California Gurl” has different plans: on the tail of her second fragrance release, the singer is launching a line of false lashes, Katy Perry by Eylure.
“I have worn Eylure lashes all the way through my tour and really loved them,” Perry says in a statement. “When it came to having a range of my own, I wanted everyone to have a great experience with my lashes. Eylure was really the best choice for me to work with.”
According to a release, Perry was quite hands-on in the development of the lashes, as well as the packaging, which features a ’40s-style ice cream parlor logo, in keeping with the sweet theme of her California Dreams tour.
The four lash varieties include “Sweetie Pie,” dainty, natural lashes; “Oh, Honey,” a fuller set; “Cool Kitty,” shorter and suitable for daytime; and “Oh, My,” bold, attention-grabbing lashes. “This style is full of texture, but lightweight and very wearable,” Perry says of the latter, based on Eylure’s double lashes. “The perfect accessory for your eyes.”

Katy Perry Unfollows Russell Brand on Twitter
The 27-year-old "Firework" singer has unfollowed her soon-to-be ex-husband on Twitter. As of Friday, Perry is still one of the 78 people Brand subscribes to via the social networking site.

It's not surprising, given that Perry is only communicating with Brand, 36, via phone or email. "She's limiting those interactions," a source tells the new issue of Us Weekly (out now). "He's being so atrocious that she feels like she never really knew him."
Perry has been keeping Brand off her mind by focusing on her career: she performed in Jakarta, Indonesia, on Thursday, and she recently shot an Adidas ad in Santa Barbara, Calif.
"She doesn't want to look battered and have people for sorry for her," a Perry source tells Us. "She's very strong and confident."

Lady Gaga and Katy Perry avoid each other
The pair fell out over Katy’s religious values.
Lady Gaga and rival singer, Katy Perry do not see eye to eye - but the pair reportedly have now gone to the extremes - asking to not be anywhere near each other at the Grammy Awards in February.
Sources told Now magazine: “Their people have asked that they're seated as far away from each other as possible to avoid any uncomfortable moments.”
Preacher's daughter Katy, 27, fell out with Lady Gaga, 25, over her ‘disrespectful attitude' towards religion in her videos.
She tweeted: “Using blasphemy as entertainment is as cheap as a comedian telling a fart joke.”
A source reveals: “She thinks Gaga's more into controversy than making music.”
Katy - who recently split with husband of 14 months, Russell Brand comes from a religious background which was reportedly one of the reasons why the pair parted ways.
Reports claim Katy wanted her husband to file for divorce and end their marriage to not disappoint her evangelical Christan parents.

R&B singer Kelis is not a fan of "California Gurls" hitmaker Katy Perry.
According to Britain's Daily Star newspaper she said, "Katy Perry is crap. It's just poor pop. Her name might be on her stuff but that doesn't mean it's any good."
Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera recently ended Perry's record-breaking run at the top of the U.S. pop chart.
