Lindsay Lohan responds to pricey lawsuit

Lindsay Lohan has finally issued her response to the lawsuit filed by former Betty Ford Center staff member Dawn Bradley. According to TMZ, Lohan’s attorneys filed their response in Riverside Country Superior Court, stating that the incident was instigated by Bradley and that Lohan’s actions were a matter of self-defense.

On December 12, 2010, Bradley claims that after sneaking off with other patients to go “boozing” after curfew, Lohan refused to take a breathalyzer and consequently grabbed Bradley’s wrist and began twisting it. 911 calls by both Lohan and Bradley were received by the local police department.

The incident has Bradley claiming damages in excess of $1 million dollars for “great mental, physical, and nervous pain and suffering” caused by Lohan.

Lohan, incensed by Bradley’s claims, hopes that her trial in court will have her plaintiff paying all court costs expended by both parties. According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, it is suspected that Bradley’s injuries have been exaggerated in order to validate her lawsuit.

Lindsay Lohan Thinks She's Marilyn Monroe

Lindsay Lohan is comparing herself to Marilyn Monroe. If she was just talking about her new blonde hair, then she could have a point. Both actresses got their blonde locks out of a bottle. Sadly, that isn't what Lindsay meant. She's been trying to become like Marilyn for years, but there can only truly be one.


Lindsay's comparison came in the forward to "Marilyn: Intimate Exposures," a book by Susan Bernard. In it she writes, "people in their mind have created who I am and act as if there is no real person inside of me. Just like Marilyn."

Many, however, would beg to differ, Lindsay. A lot of people see the person inside and that is the real problem. That shows a spoiled little brat who wants what she wants with no thought of the effect to others.


She goes on to write, "Marilyn never wanted to be just a celebrity. Neither do I ... I had always thought that movie stars were in films that would last forever in your mind. But now the films don't. I don't want to be remembered as someone who just wanted to be photographed, who goes out at night, and gets in trouble."


Perhaps the answer is staring Lindsay right in the face. She could just stop doing the things that get her into trouble in the first place. If she doesn't give people a reason to be upset with her, their feelings might change over time.






She also reported, "Marilyn said she had no foundation. But she said she was really working on it. I'm trying to do the same thing...I believe in myself and I'm a good actress."


Lindsay Lohan at least got that part right. She is a good actress when she sets her mind to it. She could even be a great actress one day, but first she has to take responsibility for her actions and she needs to make some amends so that people can see she really means it. It can't just be lip action.


Maybe then, Lindsay Lohan will get the chance to prove everybody wrong. Everybody deserves a second chance!

Lindsay Lohan's New Plastic Surgery

If anybody bothered to look that far up, they'd have noticed Lindsay Lohan's face was a disaster -- bloated and puffy with lips like Donald Duck's.

But the guys at Kim Kardashian's wedding were focusing some 12 inches lower, where her plunging neckline left nothing to the imagination.

Her dress was a virginal white copy of the emerald-green gown 27-year-old Pippa Middleton wore to her sister Kate's royal wedding reception.

Lindsay had dressed in a hotel room, where she proudly paraded before paparazzi she had invited to record the momentous occasion.

Plastic surgeons consulted by The Post say she had probably received lip and cheek injections only days before.

"Her face has been plumped beyond all recognition," said Dr. Anthony Youn.

"Lindsay, who's 25, looks like a 50-year-old 'Real Housewife' trying to look 20."

Youn said Lohan may have had her lips and cheeks injected with a wrinkle filler such as Restylane. That would have swelled her cheeks and given her a "trout pout."

"Lindsay's a very pretty gal," Youn said. "When young people get these types of treatments, there's got to be a concern."

Another doctor, Toby Mayer, said he tries to talk young patients out of such treatments.

"Women in their 20s," he said, "don't need filler."

Lindsay Lohan Wins Two-Year Restraining Order

A judge has ordered a man accused of showing at the actress’ court appearances and leaving gifts at her house to stay away from her for two years, the Associated Press reports.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Joseph Biderman ordered a restraining order against David Cocordan after a hearing in Santa Monica, Calif. Biderman said that the man had filed a statement agreeing to the order.

Lohan had filed last month that she was afraid of Cocordan, 38, who she said sent her more than 100 texts. One specifically had to do with having sex.

Currently Lohan is serving a 3-month house arrest sentence for violating her probation for taking a necklace without permission from a store.
