Papa John's Receipt Calls Asian Customer "Lady Chinky Eyes"

A young lady at the 3477 Broadway franchisee store of Papa John's was described as "lady chinky eyes" on her order receipt.



Minhee Cho went to Papa John's on January 6th at 8:10 pm and made her order on her Visa credit card. When she saw her receipt, she immediately posted it to twitter stating:


Hey @PapaJohns just FYI my name isn't "lady chinky eyes" 

Papa John's responded to the tweet:

We are very sorry for this incident & would like to contact you to apologize. Will you follow us so we may get contact info in DM?

The employee involved?

Fired, according to Papa John's PR twitter account.

We are very upset by recent receipt issue in New York & sincerely apologize to our customer. Franchise employee involved is being terminated

to the Papa John's employee, you dun goofed.
