David Bowie Covers February Issue Of Rolling Stone

David Bowie is featured on the cover of the February 2 issue of Rolling Stone magazine.

Bowie appears in a 1970's shot as his musical character Ziggy Stardust on the cover of the magazine, which also includes the article "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust: How David Bowie Changed The World" chronicling the ways in which David Bowie influenced the music industry and set the groundwork for artists ranging from Joy Division to Trent Reznor.

Bowie was also in the spotlight when he was spoofed by Jimmy Fallon on Fallon's Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Fallon combined the characters of David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust and Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow for a musical rendition of Bowie's "Space Oddity" which featured the lyrics: "Tim Tebow to Jesus Christ / Can't win by myself / But with your help, I might" . . . "Jesus Christ to Tim Tebow / Please leave me alone / Don't you know my day of rest is Sunday? / And I'm sick of watching all these Broncos games."

The February 2 issue of Rolling Stone magazine hit newsstands on Thursday.
