They are becoming known as the "mommyrexics." You know mom celebs like Rachel Zoe, Bethenny Frankel, and Victoria Beckham who seem to bounce right back to their slim physique practically as they head out the hopsital door with their new born.

And it seems that "mommyrexics" are even becoming a trend. According to reports these women are paying top dollar for trainers towhip them back into shape asap! But is it too extreme?

Joshua Margolis, a personal trainer at Mind Over Matter Health & Fitness, which offers MILF and Stroller Bootcamp classes, told the New York Post:

'Hell hath no fury like a post-partum woman trying to get back into the groove.'

Pregnant in Heels star Rosie Pope added:

'I’ve seen a massive uptick in my clients feeling stress if they’re not down to their pre-baby weight.'

The trend is having such an impact, that even maternity labels are making smaller sizes. Pope, who gave birth to her son four months ago, responded to this trend, saying:

'I’m worried about this trend, because even I couldn’t fit into it, and I’m small!'

Health experts are now starting to worry that this trend will be a bad influence on the public. Manhattan dietitian Lisa Cohn believes that Victoria Beckham, 37, who is eight months pregnant with her fourth child, is a prime example of a 'mommyrexic'.
She told the Post:

'Beckham’s in her eighth month now, and looking too thin continues to be part of [her] plan - healthy or not. She hasn’t been looking as vibrant - pale face, dull eyes and more drained.

'If her extreme post-baby weight-loss plan of shedding 20lb in a short period is true, it sends a dangerous message to other women out there.'

A friend of the Hollywood stylist told the Mail on Sunday's Katie Nicholl:

‘Rachel had her first baby, Skylar, on March 23 and gained hardly any extra weight.

‘She has a reputation for helping her Hollywood friends maintain their size-zero frames, and thinks of herself as quite an expert when it comes to keeping trim and healthy during pregnancy.

‘Victoria has been eagerly listening to her advice and they have become firm friends.’

Psychiatrist Isaac Herschkopf added:

It’s a vicious cycle - who are worried about losing their husbands, and will ignore the baby and even come to resent the baby.'
