Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny to reunite next month!

LA TV Insider Examiner has learned that former X-Files co-stars and good friends David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson are going to be coming back together for one evening only in Los Angeles thanks to local non-profit group IBG Inc. The July 30th 2011 event is being helmed as a part of their ongoing conversation series, but with a few details tweaked so fans of the stars can get the most bang for their buck.

IBG’s Conversation Series is usually an intimate gathering of fans, industry up-and-comers, and generous donors who want to support good causes. This time around, though, the Q&A is not being capped off at fifty guests and will instead offer various ticket packages, including a VIP option that includes an autograph and “book signing style” photograph with Anderson. And unlike the usually moderated Q&As of IBG Inc’s most recent Conversation Series, this one will be a bit more free-form, with Duchovny and Anderson asking each other questions back and forth. Except lots of behind-the-scenes stories from their time on The X-Files, some inside jokes, and probably some good natured ribbing at their lives and careers since leaving that franchise. Remember their Access Hollywood turn interviewing each other? Think that, but live and in person!

And if you are an absolutely diehard fan, you will want to store up some questions of your own because there will be an open floor portion of the event in which donors in attendance can pose their questions directly to the stars.

If that’s not enough for you, IBG Inc is even offering a handful of meet & greets to take place just before the Q&A. This unique half-hour or so time period will included Anderson and Duchovny candid, together, and as never been experienced, as you have time to talk with them in a small group setting, get autographs, and take a photo with them. These meet and greets will be available only via eBay, so start saving your pennies (oh, who are we kidding? Start saving your hundreds!).

Duchovny will be in Los Angeles shooting the next season of Californication and is graciously carving some time out in his schedule to attend the Q&A, while Anderson will be trekking out to the west coast from her London area home. That’s quite the dedication, but it all goes to a great cause: SA-YES.
