DanRad says he doesn't know what Pottermore is; Has no interest in returning to Potter

Harry Potter fans are waiting collectively to find out what J.K. Rowling's "Pottermore" is about and apparently so is Harry Potter himself — Daniel Radcliffe.

In an interview with The L.A. Times, Radcliffe said he has no idea what's up Rowling's sleeve.

''I know nothing about that whatsoever. I’m sure that Jo will be writing a lot more in the coming years. I’m sure she has a lot more in her than we’ve read and a lot more stories to tell. As long as they don’t involve Harry, I’m quite happy to buy them."

Oh, to be able to call Rowling "Jo."

Though most don't suspect Rowling's project to be a new Potter book, Radcliffe said he's hung up his wizard's robe for good.

"First of all, I don’t think that she will [write another Potter installment], and second of all, oh, I don’t know, the idea of going back to something after 10 or 20 years? At that point, I will have worked 20 years to establish a career outside of it, and at that point to go back to it would feel a little self-defeating."

So it looks like next month's Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 will be the last time we see Radcliffe play the role that made him a worldwide superstar.

Rowling will announce what Pottermore is on Wednesday but there's already some speculation what it could be.

EW points to the language of some trademarks Warner Bros. registered nearly two years ago, outlining something called Pottermore as a service "providing multiple-user access to a global computer information network, [...] on-line chat rooms and electronic bulletin boards for transmission of messages among users in the field of general interest [and] on-line facilities for real-time interaction with other computer users concerning topics of general interest." The article goes to say Warner Bros. also trademarked Pottermore from greeting cards, erasers, and swimming floats.
