Due to her hectic schedule, the star is often away from her friends, family and boyfriend Justin Bieber. It’s important to her that she keeps in regular contact with her loved ones so she still knows what’s going in their lives, but she shies away from communicating over the internet.
“I don’t have a personal Facebook page or anything like that. Honestly! For me, it all about texting, chatting and calling – I think those are all good. I don’t like the whole email or Facebook thing. I don’t think those are really that personal. I’d rather call someone directly,” she explained to Bliss magazine.
One of Selena’s good friends is country music singer Taylor Swift. The pair catch up whenever they have time, with Selena always happy to see her pal because she’s so fun to be around.
“I had some time off recently so I caught up with Taylor, who was in town for work,” she said. “That was really nice. She’s such a total ray of sunshine.”
